Lost Star: Accirus System
The journey had taken two weeks to get to Lost Star, while not innately far the BSO force had taken the back routes known only to those of the less savoury variety. While this had increased the travel time it meant that anyone following them or trying to find them was at a major disadvantage, and given what they had encountered on the civilian liner nobody was taking any chances.
Still Lost Star awaited. Kirayee had been given access to the Anc net and had spent her days looking for information and contacts which may be useful to her and by extension Alison and the Exiles. It had taken her sometime but

"Rest now....Child....Rest...." It said soothingly, like a father to his child. Then there was the clicking. the oddly familiar whirs and metallic clinks which the soldiers had only brief moments to recognize were weapons, the very same they had brought with them to this mission, being aimed from within their huddled group by familiar, if not rotten and hollow, faces. The dead had infiltrated their defenses, and had been among them the whole time.
"You can all rest..."
How? How did this happen? The biometrics monitor detected no abnormality, even now... and yet, somehow, the enemy had infiltrate

The moment the door opened the Exiles had abandoned thermal lances and whirled on the newcomer. Barrels came up and the girl very nearly found herself on the receiving end of a lot of automatic weapons fire. But the Death Squads stopped short of actually shooting her. Nonetheless they kept their guns level with the girl, even as Alison lowered her own weapon. She eyed the girl suspiciously and glanced toward Bebop.
"Check the passenger manifest. See if she's on it,"
The neuromancer nodded briefly before once again falling into cyberspace looking for the requested information. Alison meanwhile tu

Back in the hangar, the red fog only seemed to be getting thicker, obscuring the area's surroundings almost completely. despite their initial encounter, all was calm. peaceful. before the humming started once more. from all around the chamber, deep within the fog. hundreds of voices in unison, humming that same grim hymn. one by one, forms started appearing from within the fog, dozens, if not hundreds.
While the teams had been distracted by the one threat, they successfully ignored the numerous others moving through the fog. surrounding them. too many.
"Get out of there! hurry!"
A voice broke t

The Free Worlders emerged from their cover and moved slowly into the open, approaching the Annolidians and the BSO slowly with their weapons ready, but not raised.
"Knew we weren't the only ones here, but weren't expecting to see you guys so soon." the team leader said, holding his rifle tightly.
"You lot alright?"
Alison rolled her eyes as the explorers approached. She'd read the reports not to mention spoken with Cletus and Jeb about what had gone down at Askandar. Free Worlds or some such nonsense they called themselves. Free from what exactly she wondered. There were plenty of democracies in

It was nothing out of the ordinary.
Apart from the screaming...
The passenger liner that now floated without any assistance or seeming power tumbled through the void, a normal vessel designed to transport hundreds across the galaxy to different destinations the vessel was not unique at all. Its hull showed no signs of damage and there was no sign of forced entry. For all intents and purposes it seemed like it had suddenly lost power and begun a slow uncontrolled spin. Its distress signal had like all automatic signals activated in short order, broadcasting its position and velocity to all those

Sparticus Prime: Ex Metropolis Space (Carnaith Space)
The Spartan incident was still an enigma, and the hostiles that had engaged with Carnaith and its supporter’s mere weeks ago were now a focus of speculation and pseudo-research. Incredibly blurry images of their ships and sensor/scanner readouts were surely at the forefront of CIGO interest, but that wasn't the purpose of the date. The surface of the world, with the exception of central historical sites and points of interest, had been viciously bombarded with nuclear weapons, and much of the world found itself under nuclear winter. Sickly brown and grey skies found themselves pierc

Ancerious Galaxy: Unknown Space
The Church of the Draconian Gods was well known throughout the galaxy.
The length to this knowledge however varied wildly, with some nations having keen instinct and knowledge in what they were, what they worshipped and how to track them down, while others had either only the faintest knowledge of them or even none at all in far flung regions. And still the cults had far ranging influence never the less. For this then, it is a surprise to many to see such little direct action taken by them in the 2nd Ancerious war. It is known of course that the CDG and also the Abberation aligned the
