The Drake's World

After their exodus from earth around 4 million years ago the drakes retreated to a large pocket dimension where they created their own new world to start over on. Because it's artificial, the drakes were able to build it to their liking, although there are some downsides to them not living on earth. The drakes must control the weather and other forces the planet would normally control to some degree, at least having to start the events which result in desirable conditions and forcing them to stop when they're not. much of the wildlife is magically connected to the planet and remain at a static population count. the world is unfinished, but constantly being added upon by elementals used to help construct the planet . In its unfinished state, the planet is slightly larger than earth. much of the planet is controlled from the royal palace by the high king or queen. magic runs across the planet like air and has altered it further than what the drakes had originally intended, without drake intervention the planet and its wildlife can be unpredictable and even dangerous to itself and all that inhabit it.
