Nagaetros

Considered to be a myth by drakes to explain why the worst of things happen to good people and the most evil entity in the drake mythos. He is known as Lord of the shadow, priest of Apophis, the soul dealer, son of Typhon, the beast warlock, the last prophecy, and Lord Naga for short. Nagaetros was a monstrous god from ancient times; He steals and devours souls to fuel his dark power, he gets more powerful with each victim. Lord Nagaetros is the first draconian, the dark myth, and the creator of the dark pantheon. He is the draconian god of murder, lies, shadows, and dark dealings.

Personality: Naga is usually very calm and collected, joyous, even. However this doesn’t stop him from killing casually. Naga is incredibly sadistic and deceitful. He is very hard to predict as his personality can change drastically from sadistic monster to a kind and even reasonable businessman on a whim. in order to give his subjects and prey a false sense of security before everything backfires on them. He enjoys watching others fall for their own decisions and takes great delight at suffering of others and humbling the mighty. He doesn’t use the powers out of the kindness of his heart; a price must always be paid, even if it isn't immediately obvious. Although he's cruel, he actually has a soft spot for dogs. despite many of the legends about him, he consumes the souls of the innocent, but drinks the blood of the wicked or sinful. He takes odd enjoyment out of destroying families more than any other victim.

Powers: Naga is very skilled at magic and as a draconian he has the ability to bend reality to his will and create objects out of thin air. Most of Naga’s powers are shadow oriented but he is capable of using other elemental magic as well. His offensive spells are known to affect the soul as well as the body, making shielding and armor mostly worthless, and inflicting indescribable pain on his enemies. He uses his skills in magic to curse, hex, and enchant anything he chooses, and often uses these powers to fulfill dark desires amongst his subjects and future prey. Naga loves to shape shift and can take the form of anything he desires. Whenever Naga gets angry his power can increase immensely. Naga uses slivers from his soulshard to give people "gifts" like powers, limbs, cures, and even bringing the dead back to life. why he uses his slivers is not known as he is fully capable of these feats without them.

Abilities: like a shadow, Naga's size is indefinite, he can alter his size on a whim. Because he is a god he is immortal. He has advanced natural and magical healing factors and can lose a limb and easily regenerate or re-attach it without a thought. In both arms he hides natural blades that are each as long as his forearm. Naga uses his tail to impale his enemies with extreme accuracy. Naga is strong, but he is also very intelligent and cannot be tricked easily. He may appear young but he has had millions of years to work on his master plan, with many routes and intricate paths to his success. Naga is also just as skilled with a sword as he is magic and has made a sword out of shards from the his own soulshard, connecting it to him.

history: much of Naga's history is long forgotten, through fear or the shear will to forget, but many drakes still tell stories of how he came from nowhere and slew the great kings and queens from before the appearance of humans and tried to throw the world into chaos but was defeated by the young King Helios, one of the drakes' most beloved kings and saviors.  However, these stories are only treated as fables and fairy tales and while Helios is loved and well known as a great king, Naga is considered as only a metaphor for a great disaster and not an actual living, breathing entity. Like the other draconian chaos gods, Naga wasn’t always like this; he was given his abilities by chaos itself, but there is little to trace back to his true origin.

Weaknesses: Naga is unable to directly meddle in the affairs of other deities and is unable to set foot in their holy grounds without weakening. Naga is unable to touch gold because of its magical properties, but this is merely a painful nuisance and not really a problem to him, however it usually reveals him in a disguise or temporarily distracts him. His sword is made out of his soulshard so it would be made unbreakable, therefore, in theory, able to tear through and harm him, counting as a self-inflicted wound; however it’s a bigger challenge to get the sword away from him than one might think. Naga is actually half blind since his eye never healed properly, he can only see shapes out of it but they’re often too blurry for him to make out, especially at a distance, this gives his enemies a chance to dodge his spells but that chance is fairly slim. As a result of his scarring, all of his core forms have the same two scars over his eye but when he takes a form not belonging to him he can easily remove them.
Naga can be defeated if the proper effort or luck were to be used, but he can’t be killed, only banished, imprisoned, or forced to flee by forces greater than his own. Like the other draconian, Naga isn’t omniscient or omnipresent like natural gods are. But his attention can be drawn to certain locations if he’s called upon.
