Often called the king of blades for his mastery in the art of sword play and the fierce method of rule he employed, High King Tsorrid is an ancient drake ruler, the last of which to claim rule of a galaxy wide empire. Tsorrid was a son of Typhon.
Personality: Like all drake kings, Tsorrid was raised from birth to be the best ruler he could be, often to the point of obsession. Tsorrid had always had the wellbeing of his people in mind when he ruled, but only his people, any and all other races were always second class to worthless in his eyes. He ruled the drakes fairly, and for many years unquestioned. When matters involving the other races arose, this was rarely the case. As a king, he was very involved in the affairs of the drakes. In his later years he became noticeably paranoid, surrounding himself with sentinels, holy guardians, to protect himself from an unknown and unseen force.
Powers: Tsorrid is a powerful, pure blooded fire drake, and has complete control over the element. Tsorrid was a powerful spell caster but was exceptionally skilled at enchantments. He often preferred forms of combat oriented magic and was considered a master of the art.
Abilities: Tsorrid was a royal drake and immortal unless killed by another royal. He was fairly strong, but most of his abilities came from his skill, not his strength. Tsorrid was a cunning and intelligent combatant, preferring to use his blades and intelligence to defeat an enemy. Tsorrid’s weapon of choice was always his many blades, each one made of pure alchemerium, making them almost indestructible. Every part of Tsorrid’s armor is a weapon or tool. The sentinels he surrounded himself with make up parts of his armor as well, and can be used as either defensive or offensive purposes, each one acts independently from the other. Like all drakes, Tsorrid was a shapeshifter, although he rarely ever did. He was a decently skilled flier.
History: Unlike many earlier and later rulers of the drakes, Tsorrid’s reign was marked by many wars, mostly between drakes and subjugated races who sought either equality or freedom from the drake empire. Tsorrid was personally involved in every single major conflict, and in each battle he claimed victory. In the final years of his reign, Tsorrid became significantly more violent and angry at the other races, calling for the extermination of every single member of a race who instigated a large scale conflict and publicly executing their leaders himself. Tsorrid sought expansion and universal conquest in honor of the drake empire. The drakes did not like this, and sought to leave the other races alone and at peace, free of their rule to do as they wish. Tsorrid’s brother, a young drake who would eventually become High King Searen, confronted Tsorrid, demanding his brother to cease his cruel and undesired actions. Because he could not fight his brother, and the drakes had turned on him, he angrily accepted his fate. On orders from Searen, Tsorrid was to be banished, forced into hibernation and launched into the void of space. Searen then took his place on the throne and ended the the drake empire his brother had once ruled, and began creating the drake empire as it is known today.
Weaknesses: Tsorrid was never a very good healer, often taking days to heal from an injury. He is also extremely proud and often looks down on others of different species. Tsorrid was also never very strong. Tsorrid’s mental state is also questionable
